[edit] Early History
Yoshi Dude found Acmlm's ROM Hack Domain while searching for a rom of Doki Doki Panic. It was here that she learned about ROM hacking and wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, at the ripe age of dumbassery (thirteen), and being a Macintosh user, she was doomed from the beginning. She sent an e-mail to Acmlm inquiring about ROM hacking, but when her impatience took over, she joined his board to get answers herself.
The username Yoshi Dude originated here. It came from being a Yoshi fan and having a tendency to say "dude." She avoided her usual alias, Gau, as she never intended to stay at the board. From this she never admitted to being a girl, and eventually played the role of a male until she got bored of it.
Yoshi Dude befriended Weasel, and together they attempted to make a graphics and level ROM hack of Super Mario Bros. 3, titled Super Yoshi Dude. Rather than have the Mario Bros. as the stars of the game, it would feature Yoshi Dude and Boshi Dude. It didn't take long for this idea to be abandoned, while Weasel would go on to other ROM hacking projects, YD decided to play the hacks, not make them. Her interest in spriting still stayed with her, however.

Currently, Yoshi Dude enjoys messing around with Adobe Photoshop, making pixel art, ripping sprites, and playing video games. A frustration of hers is that she will take on a lot of projects, but never really succeed in any of them. She spends most of her online time chatting on AIM or Skype.
