Approval Request Forum

The Approval Request Forum was a forum on the Third Incarnation where users could request approval to be able to post in any of the ROM Hacking forums. It was added on August 14th, 2006.

When it was added, users were given a temporary "free time" where you could have still posted in the ROM Hacking forums until August 15, 2006, 06:00 PST. Originally, approval was needed to post in the ROM hacking forum as well, but due to complaints from experienced hackers, the ordinance was lifted on ROM Hacking, but kept on SMW and Pokemon hacking. On October 20th, 2006, after another influx of stupid newbies, it was put back in place.

There is currently no Approval Request Forum on the Fourth Incarnation. The "other" board kept it though.
